Applying a character just to get them together with your OC is not allowed. No playing both characters of a pairing.
Try to keep things at least somewhat realistic. Try not to put your character in any situations where there is no IC probable way for them to get out of it alive unless you are O.K. with them dying.
Killing other characters- You must ask first if you want to kill another person's character. Any character that repeatedly kills other characters for no good reason will get very sick for no apparent reason.
Reserves for canon characters: They can be reserved for two weeks after that they are up for grabs. You may not reserve the same character more than once a month.
Reserves may be extended if you have a good reason.
Player created Alternate Universes of canon characters are allowed.
If you want to keep previous character development from another Role-play it will be allowed but, it will count as an Alternate Universe version of that character.
Original Characters: Are allowed. You can invent your own world for them to be from or they can come from an existing one. You will have to give background on any worlds of your own. You may have them be from a canon world though they CAN NOT have any preexisting connection to the canon characters there. So, no siblings/cousins/daughters/sons of a canon character.
Original characters from Earth or an Earth like world (AKA someplace that has the technology for whatever game/movie/show that they come from) may be familiar with some of the canon characters stories though they will be unable to speak of it. There may be a way for your character to get around this. It can be different for character but, it will be something traumatizing and you must have mod approval.Note- Please limit the series your character is familiar with to Two.
No Mary Sues. If I think your character is a Mary Sue it will not be allowed here. Not that your character can't be special in some way, just don't overdo it.
If you are going to drop a character please let me know so he/she/it can be removed from the taken character list.
I may at some point bring in random pieces for plot purposes. These may be temporary or permanent depending on the purpose.
Dungeons
They can be pretty much anything. A dark forest, cave, castle, house, part of a city. They can be bigger on the inside than on the outside. And of course are crawling with monsters.
If an area was a dungeon before being brought here it will remain as is with the traps and monsters resetting when there are no player characters present.
If an area wasn't a dungeon in any way before being brought here it may change every time it is visited. Though the type of monsters found within will remain the same.
For there to be a dungeon type area only the entrance needs to be present and the rest of the piece can be a normal, monster free area.
Monsters
Only show up in dungeon type places and are usually unable to leave them. What monsters show up depend on what world the place they are found comes from. So if you are in a place that came from FF12 there will be FF12 monsters there. If the place didn't have any monsters before being brought here it will contain random monsters.
Only up to 4 characters per player.
In case you don't understand exactly what's going on from the profile, basically you and a portion of the world you were on are sucked into another dimension. The portions of world will become pieces of the world there.
There will be some way to communicate nearby. Example- A laptop/cell phone/magic journal or something similar. This may only be used to communicate with people that have also been sucked into this world.

Plots
Left mostly to the players. Explore dungeons, interact with others, freak out, see what happens if you jump off... as long as it's in character. Though if no one explores the dungeons for a while weird things start to happen.
Pretty much just do what you want with a few restrictions. 1) The Book really is nowhere to be found, so no finding it. 2) You must get approval from me for anything that affects everyone.
The game will go on as long as most are having fun with it. If/when it's decided that it will end there will be an ending event after which everyone finds out what the hell is going on and gets to go home.
The book
Before arriving here your character finds and opens the book. After which, they will black out and when they wake they find that the area is now floating in sky attached to other such pieces.
There may be other people still on that piece that didn't flee the big swirling vortex for whatever reason.
Food
Until a shop that sells food or someplace else to forage shows up the only place to get food is the large house surrounded by forest that is the first piece of the world. There are some blueberry bushes and an apple tree somewhere on that piece and there is food in the kitchen of the house. This food seems to restock itself about every three days, similar to the shops never running out of stock.
Other stuff
The monsters in the dungeons may drop money and other items when defeated. They could drop just about anything.
Any questions? Suggestions?
