[The video opens with a scrap involving Sora and some small creatures resembling misshapen little bugs with glowing yellow eyes. It's brief however and takes up no more than fifteen or twenty seconds of the recording. It may not be the first such scrap Sora has had though. It's obvious he's a bit out of breath as he adjusts the camera. It seems he's hurt, though it doesn't look serious.]
Guys, I should probably have said something sooner, but the monsters that came with me and this island are very different from the other monsters. They're called Heartless and they're... The easiest explanation is that they're the darkness of people's Hearts. And the only thing that can really properly get rid of them is the Keyblade. You can destroy them with any other weapon, but they'll just show up again later. That--
[He's interrupted, but it isn't anything major. A couple more of the shadows have rush in, but fall easily to the Keyblade, glowing Hearts floating away from the dissipating darkness and vanishing.]
That isn't the biggest problem, though. They can make more Heartless by dragging other Hearts into Darkness. And it looks like they're even less picky about it than I thought. I've seen them take a couple of other monsters already.
[There's a pause, during which he can be heard muttering under his breath. He's casting a healing spell, but is interrupted yet again, this time by a much larger horde of shadows. The video cuts off with the image of a mass of writhing shadows and glowing eyes closing in...]
