While the subjects of reconstituted individuals, re-purposed hearts, and reintegrated minds remain plausible based on personal experience (and with two out of these three based on my own youthful handiwork), the blood-stained annals of Science! certainly leave no room for purely benign intentions behind any product of those blasted Sparks!
